Colossus Vision

To be the definitive global platform that connects discerning audiences with rare, independent, and culturally significant cinema, while offering the most transparent and filmmaker-friendly distribution model in the industry.

Unique Value Proposition (UVP): Colossus is the Filmmaker-First Hybrid Streamer. We combine a highly curated library of rare independent/international titles and unseen American cultural cinema with an essential collection of mainstream content, all built on a revolutionary 85/15 royalty split that empowers creators.

Core Pillars

  1. Curated Excellence: A high-quality, diverse library that cannot be found anywhere else.

  2. Creator Empowerment: A fair, transparent, and industry-leading financial model for filmmakers.

  3. Community & Showcase: Active marketing, festivals, and promotion to elevate independent voices.

I. Distribution & Filmmaker Model

The Filmmaker-First Model is the heart of Colossus's brand identity.

Colossus Policy

85% to the Filmmaker / 15% to Colossus.

Filmmakers retain their Master rights and Copyright.

Colossus takes its 15% cut after any direct marketing expenses have been recouped (if applicable, which should be clearly defined and capped). The 85/15 applies to the net revenue.

Dedicated Marketing & Festival Service: Colossus will actively help market titles, create targeted online campaigns, and organize the Colossus Film Festival/Showcase series.

Strategic Advantage

This is significantly higher than many other digital distributors (a typical indie distribution split can sometimes be 50/50 or less after costs), making Colossus highly attractive to independent creators.

Provides maximum control and future licensing power to the creator, a major selling point.

Ensures transparency and trust, aligning with the "Filmmaker-First" philosophy.

Goes beyond simple distribution to become a true partner in a film's success.

Content Upload

A user-friendly Content Management System (CMS) for filmmakers to upload, tag metadata, and track performance. (Key platform feature: Result 1.1)

Enables self-service for a high volume of independent content while maintaining quality control.

II. Membership Plans

Your pricing strategy should reflect the high value of the curated, rare content, as well as the mainstream titles. (Comparable niche indie services often range from $4.99 to $7.99 per month - Result 2.1, 2.3). A tiered structure can maximize revenue streams and audience segments.
